St. Nicholas' Day for employees' children
The Santa Claus event for the children of BNY Mellon employees was marked by joy, laughter, countless attractions and lots of gifts! With the help of light and scenography, the NOT auditorium turned into a winter-fairy-tale land, where everyone could find something for themselves. A team of elves engaged the kids in art work. Creative Christmas tree decorations and colorful letters to Santa Claus were created. The snowflakes kept an eye on the little ones using the inflatable slides. The stage, on the other hand, was taken over by the Snow Queen with a varied program of games, plays and competitions integrating the whole family. The culmination of the evening was the long-awaited visit of Santa Claus, who prepared gifts. The children received educational toys adapted to their age. Organizing events for adults involves great responsibility, meticulous preparations and in-depth rehearsals preceding the event. However, children's events raise the level of readiness, commitment and foresight to above-average levels. We should provide children not only with uninhibited, great fun, but also with a hundred percent guarantee of safety and comfort. These were the values that guided us this time as well, when we prepared, among other things, a room for breastfeeding mothers, a dedicated room for changing babies, a changing room, a play area for babies, as well as special catering packages adapted to the children's diet (including gluten-free and protein-free).
