Cuban night for YATO – Viva la Cuba!
Despite the October cold, the event had a hot atmosphere of the Caribbean summer. In spite of the autumn rains, we titled our project "Cuban picnic – Viva la Cuba!". For the purposes of the event, the modern hall has undergone a thorough metamorphosis. We have prepared a straw bar, deckchairs, hammocks. We also prepared Cuban flags, palm trees and a sandy island. The culmination was the iconic pink Cadillac. This is how we transformed the surroundings into a Havana resort. Guests were greeted by our professional hostesses and waiters serving colorful welcome drinks. The atmosphere of the fiesta was co-created by various artists that evening. Among them was a native Cuban DJ Angel Onay Vazquez Torres, salsa dancers Amanda Hounkpatin and Miguel Fonseca from Torres Art Studio, drummers from Balafon Brothers and bartenders from Extreme Bar. Competitions awaited them, which they eagerly entered. They competed in limbo competitions, coconut throws, dancing or drinking Cuba Libre through long straws. However, the real excitement was provided by the competition for the best styling, announced before the event. From among the original costumes, it was really difficult to choose the only one! A Cuban menu and a live seafood cooking demonstration awaited the guests.
