The "Lower Silesian Griffin" Economic Award has been awarded for 11 years for the most important economic achievements of the region. It distinguishes the best enterprises, local government units as well as institutions and organizations that create the economic and social future of Lower Silesia. The official results of the 11th edition of the "Lower Silesian Griffin – Economic Award" competition took place on 27 October 2014. It took place at the Capitol Musical Theatre in Wrocław during a concert on the occasion of the Great Business Gala. The gala was attended by eminent personalities from the world of politics, culture, science, business and the media. Companies had a chance to compete for the Griffin statuette in 8 categories. Two of them were new: the Award for Corporate Social Responsibility and the Award for Companies from outside the region for their continued contribution to the development of Lower Silesia (assimilation and contribution).

Awards

In the category of Local Government Unit – "Award for local governments for special successes in cooperation with business" – the statuette was awarded to the Municipality of the City of Świdnica. Apart from Świdnica, the following were also nominated for the award: the Kudowa-Zdrój Commune and the Wałbrzych Commune. In the category of Innovation – Award for innovation and cooperation between business and science, the Competition Jury decided to honour the company with the Griffin statuette

Metalerg Sp. z o.o. s. In the Enterprise category – Award for an innovative business/development idea for micro and small enterprises, the statuette went to the company.

Newind sp. z o.o. , which was represented by the President of the Management Board – Dariusz Gajewski. The winner of the Enterprise category – Award for an innovative business/development idea for medium and large enterprises was the company
